A beautiful, historically accurate, hand forged replica sword made from EN45 spring steel from one of Scotland's leading weaponry designers and forgers. This item has a sharpened edge blade with a full tang that is cup peened riveted over the pommel. This sword has the perfect weight and ballance making it it a great blade to handle. The Henry V Sword is modeled after the sword hung over the tomb of one of England's great warrior kings. The single-handed cut-and-thrust weapon combines a relatively short sturdy blade with elegant down-swept quillons and a wheel pommel. Henry V (1386 - 1422) was King of England from 1413 until his death. From an unassuming start, his military successes in the Hundred Years' War, culminating with his famous victory at the Battle of Agincourt, saw him come close to uniting the realms of England and France under his rule.
